PhotoMeow processes and organizes media entirely on device. It requires no account, operates no backend that receives photos or serves app content, and does not collect, upload, sell, or share photos, videos, organizing history, or device identifiers.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the PhotoMeow iOS and HarmonyOS apps provided by rgcode. It explains how the apps use media permissions, on-device storage, and platform purchase services.
2. Data we do not collect
The app contains no account system, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, marketing push service, remote database, or cross-app tracking. We do not receive your media, album names, organizing decisions, location, contacts, device identifiers, or payment credentials.
3. Photo access and on-device processing
On iOS, PhotoMeow uses PhotoKit to read media within the scope you authorize. On HarmonyOS, Library Overview, album browsing, time- or media-type organization, and on-device duplicate analysis require READ_IMAGEVIDEO access to the full library index, thumbnails, and original content you open; PhotoViewPicker returns only media selected in a single session and cannot support these full-library features. Album changes and deletion requests occur only after your explicit confirmation. Originals, videos, and analysis results are never sent to rgcode. You can revoke access in system Settings at any time.
Tool processing and saving
Image and video tools run on device. Originals, recognized text, faces and metadata are not uploaded to the developer. The camera is used only when you choose to take a photo. Results are stored temporarily on device. Save, Share or Copy saves to Photos, opens the system share sheet or writes to the clipboard, respectively. Generating a result does not delete the original file.
4. Local storage
Organizing progress, pending actions, preferences, analysis caches, and a Pro entitlement cache remain in the app sandbox. Uninstalling the app generally removes this app data, but does not delete original items from the system photo library. You can also clear supported records in the app.
5. Deletion and recovery
PhotoMeow requests deletion only after your final confirmation. Deleted items normally enter the system photo library’s Recently Deleted area. Retention and recovery are controlled by the operating system, so keep appropriate backups before important operations.
6. In-app purchases and external links
iOS 2.1 and later offer weekly, monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase, with the same benefits and different access periods. HarmonyOS uses a one-time purchase. Products, prices, payments and refunds follow the relevant store. The developer does not receive payment passwords or full card details.
7. Children’s privacy
The app is not designed to collect personal data from children and has no user-generated public content, social networking, or behavioral advertising. Minors should use purchases with a guardian.
8. Security and policy changes
On-device processing substantially reduces network exposure, but no device can be guaranteed absolutely secure. If data handling changes materially, we will explain the change in an app update and on this page, and update the effective date.
